What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is by 11:00. If you have a late flight, please let us know in advance; we always try to accommodate late check-outs or provide a secure place for your luggage.
Does the villa have air conditioning and Wi-Fi?
Yes. Every bedroom and the main living area features quiet, individually controlled A/C units. We also provide complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the property and the terrace area.
How often is the house cleaned?
To ensure your comfort while respecting your privacy, we provide professional cleaning and fresh linens/towels every second day of your stay.
Are beach towels provided?
Yes, we provide high-quality beach towels for all our guests so you can save space in your luggage.
How far is the beach?
The beach is exactly zero meters away. Sandy Pines Villas has a private gated entrance that leads directly from your garden onto the sandy beach of Alykes.
Do we need to rent a car?
It depends on your plans. If you want a “lazy” holiday, you don’t need a car. Restaurants, supermarkets, and bars are all within a 5-to-10 minute walk along the sand or the road. However, if you wish to explore the hidden gems of Zakynthos (like Shipwreck View or the mountain villages), we recommend a car for at least 2-3 days.
Can you help with airport transfers?
Absolutely. Dionysis can arrange for a trusted local driver to meet you at the airport and bring you directly to the villa. We can also coordinate car rentals to be delivered straight to your door.
Is there private parking?
Yes, the property includes a spacious, gated, and paved parking area where your vehicles will be safe and shaded.
Is the beach safe for children?
Alykes is famous for being one of the safest beaches on the island. The water is shallow and calm for a long distance out, making it ideal for toddlers and young children to play safely under your watch.
Do you provide baby equipment?
Yes, we can provide a baby cot and a high chair upon request. Please let us know your needs at the time of booking.
Is the property wheelchair accessible?
No it is not due to stairs to enter the house.
Can we book boat trips through you?
Yes! We recommend booking private boat trips to avoid the crowds. Dionysis has partnerships with local skippers who can pick you up almost infront of the villa for trips to the Blue Caves and Navagio.
What is the "Direct Booking" benefit?
When you book through our website, you are guaranteed the lowest possible rate (no platform commissions). You also receive our “Welcome to Zakynthos” Hamper and priority for early check-in.
What is your cancellation policy?
We offer a flexible cancellation policy for direct bookings. You can find the specific terms during the checkout process, or you can contact us for more details regarding specific dates.
Where is the nearest supermarket?
You may find several well-stocked mini-market within just 500 meters from the house. For larger grocery, there are bigger supermarkets in the close by village (approx. 1,4 Klm).
Are there good restaurants nearby?
You may find several good tavernas within walking distance. Whether you want fresh fish, traditional Greek moussaka, or a quick gyros, you will find several excellent options within a 10 minute walk.
